Frequently Asked Questions

Q. It is my first time, will people know?

A. Only you know it is your first time. We have many visitors, who during their stay mention it is their first visit to a naturist retreat, and no-one has noticed. There is nothing to notice. Remember everyone has a first visit. A sun hat , sun block and a towel will keep you comfortable on any visit.

Q. Is Glen Eden a clothing optional retreat?

A No, we are a naturist retreat i.e. if the weather conditions permit one is expected to be nude. So we are sensible if there is a chill in the air we wrap up. So no bathers and no sun frocks

Q. I do not have an all over tan will people talk ?

A. No, no-one will notice or care. People visit naturist retreats for many reasons. It can be for the freedom of no clothing, the stress free environment, the removal of society labels etc. Some wish an overall tan, we do not encourage sun burn [hate to be boring but UV exposure is linked to skin cancers].

Q. Where are you?

A. We are located north of Bundaberg on the road to Agnes Water. Our mission statement is privacy and security, so we do not give directions unless you decide to visit. We try to maintain the privacy of our guests.

Q. Do you welcome children ?

A. Unfortunately our insurance excludes children visiting our property.

Q. Do you allow pets/animals ?

A. Sorry no.

Q. Do you allow single men to visit?

A. Yes, although as with all our visitors we like 24-hour notice of intent to visit. We do like to keep a balance of single visitors to couples.

Q my husband is a naturist and I am not (it is always the husband who is the naturist) Can we visit ?

A. Sorry no, if you feel you can never be nude in a social setting then this is not the place for you. Please discuss this issue within your relationship and then decide to visit when you are both naturists. We do not provide free professional counseling for marital disagreements on this topic.
